Hurricane Creek Park

Yesterday Paul and I visited a gorgeous park in Cullman, Alabama! Here are some pictures...some of the scenery yesterday made me feel really close to Jesus!

This picture is of the trail steps leading through a rock. Reminds me of how the Lord wants us to find refuge in Him...."Hide me in the cleft of the Rock..."

Hurricane Creek was so tranquil and so beautiful! "Lead me beside the still waters..."
The water was literally a turqoise green!!! "...but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst."

"Come all you who are thirsty; come to the waters..." Isiah 55:1

John 4:13 "Jesus answered, 'Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoevere drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

This bridge and the whole hiking trail reminded me of the path we are on following Christ. The path at Hurrican Park was extremely narrow...in the same way the path we are on with Christ is also very narrow and few find it. "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that lead to life, and there are few who find it." Matthew 7: 14
Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
Psalm 16:11 "You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever."
