Well...it's been four days in the hospital and this is the fifth day. I'm literally going stir-crazy and the only thing that helps is reading blogs, doing my own posting on my blog, emailing and IM.
I am so blessed to have a friend (and her mom) who know so much about natural things your body needs...such as health foods, vitamins, and the like. Since I take Crestor in the evenings, I have often wondered if this drug is causing my seizures. I asked my friend and her mom and they researched for me. (Thank y'all so much guys). Fortunately, Crestor does not cause seizures, but an interesting thing did occur to them. People who have seizures are depleted of Vitamin B12 and CoQ10. Hmmm...I wonder if Crestor is making me deficient of these two things. So far, the doctor has not caught me having a seizure here in the hospital this week. He told me this is very common...people who aren't epileptic and just have seizures occasionally are the hardest to capture. I only have seizures under extreme stress and usually they occur every three or four weeks. I just am upset they didn't catch one, but at the same time I am very thankful that they were so thourough.
I'll more than likely have to be checked again soon. But I am thankful to know about two very important vitamins that I will be getting soon: Vitamin B12 and CoQ10!!! Thank you my friend and her mom. :)
