I got a quote off of my friend, Becca Engelkemier's, facebook status the other day:

When you stop and think about this, Jesus really did have to go right through suffering and death for us! As we approach Easter, may we all focus on how MUCH Christ had to suffer for us and how MUCH He loves us so that we could have true joy and peace through Him. Wow..."through Him." That means Christ has already died and suffered for us so that we don't have to...what amazing Grace! Whenever we go through some hardship or loss in life, remember that we can't bypass suffering or loss...we must go right through them...then we shall experience true joy and peace in Jesus Christ!
